Open wound after the stitches removed?
my wound was healing fine until today. Its been about a week. I had a of the drainage system was good. But now for some reason a holes appear on the size of the tip of the dart. My DR said drainage money fine and all and said that my wound looked good on Friday. Day Saturday afternoon is when the holes showed up. I need to know if this is OK or if I risk infecting others (I've implanted my left breast removed removed by Nocardia. (Cultures done) It's all crazy and swollen and abscessed. Advice?

However, this is normal in a reasonable economic My experience with wounds in humans and animals. Meanwhile, keep the area Clean !!!!! and dry. Clean it with alcohol will help keep infections away, or Betadine (If you have it on hand), or put some triple antibiotic ointment (or something similar order from pharmacies) into the area immediately. Generally as long as something is out OUT, infection have a hard time getting IN … but taking some precautions is a good idea anyhow.
