Can a person wear a underwire bra After Breast Augmentation surgery?
I am a plastic surgeon in Houston and the response yes, you can use a wire support in surgery after the increase, but not immediately after surgery. Depending on the method used, implant type, and characteristics of breast tissue, your surgeon may ask whether to put in a cable clamp quickly after surgery or not for several weeks. Sometimes patients who have an ill-defined times below their benefit breast use under a wire tie early in the recovery process to help form the top, while others need to drop their implants in place and wear a bra strong support, as a cable under it would be beneficial. After the initial healing period, you should be able to use any type of bra you want. As always, the best source for these questions is a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Hope this helps R. Www.drsteely.com Lee Steely MD FACS
